Work where the roots
run deep.
We're a family-run outdoor vineyard venue just south of Atlanta — and when we bring someone onto our team, they become part of how we show up for every client, every event, every season.
Now Hiring · 2026 SeasonPeople who love people.
At Norwood Vineyard, every event is someone's most important day. Weddings, wine tastings, baby showers, bridal showers, milestone birthdays — our clients bring their people here for moments that matter. The team that makes those moments happen needs to care just as much as we do.
An outdoor venue. Rain or shine.
Norwood Vineyard is a working muscadine vineyard in Clayton County — open sky, garden spaces, and the kind of setting that makes people feel something the moment they arrive. Our events happen outside and under our beautiful tent. We need people who don't just tolerate that, but genuinely love it.
Four roles. One team.
Different work, same standard — show up, take care of people, and take pride in this place.
& Venue Sales Coordinator
This role lives at the heart of what we do. On wedding days, you are our couples' greatest advocate — the calm, organized presence that makes sure everything flows from rehearsal through the final dance. Between events, you are the first voice prospective couples hear when they reach out — someone who can paint the picture of their day and guide them confidently toward booking. Most of our couples arrive without a wedding planner. Our team becomes that steady presence.
- Lead the wedding rehearsal — directing the wedding party and ensuring the couple feels confident
- Build and manage a detailed day-of timeline with the couple and all vendors
- Serve as primary contact for all vendors: caterers, DJs, photographers, florists, officiants
- Ensure the ceremony space is perfectly set before guests arrive
- Cue the DJ for processional, first dance, toasts, cake cutting, and all key moments
- Coordinate the full reception flow from cocktail hour through send-off
- Anticipate and resolve issues quietly — without the couple ever knowing
- Ensure the couple feels celebrated and completely at ease from start to finish
- Respond warmly to all venue inquiries from prospective couples and event hosts
- Follow up with leads to nurture interest through to booking
- Schedule and conduct venue tours for weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, anniversaries, and milestone events
- Know every detail of our packages and pricing — you are the expert that builds confidence
- Support owners with booking process, contract coordination, and event onboarding
- Prior hands-on wedding coordination or hospitality experience — required
- Calm under pressure; warm with guests; organized to the last detail
- Weekend availability is a must; weekday flexibility for tours is a strong plus
- Genuine love of the outdoors — most hours will be outside
- Comfortable working in a small, family-operated environment
- Self-motivated and able to work independently without constant direction
- Interest in growing with a family-owned venue long-term
- Experience conducting venue tours or sales conversations is a plus
& Tasting Host
We are building a wine tasting program rooted in Southern soil and Southern hospitality — and we need someone to help us build it. As our Wine Program Curator & Tasting Host, you will design our tasting experiences, select wines from local and regional producers, build relationships with Southern winemakers, and then be the warm, knowledgeable presence guiding our guests through each pour. We are not looking for a wine snob. We are looking for someone who makes wine feel like an invitation, not an exam. This role grows into Wine & Beverage Director as our programming expands.
- Design guided tastings, open flight experiences, and seasonal programming
- Select wines with emphasis on Southern winemakers and muscadine varietals
- Build and maintain relationships with local and regional winemakers
- Develop approachable tasting notes and food pairing recommendations
- Place wine orders and manage tasting inventory in coordination with owners
- Collaborate on programming calendar, pricing, and guest experience design
- Host and lead our monthly Friday Night Legacy Wine Tasting (up to 75 guests)
- Guide guests through each tasting with warmth, knowledge, and genuine enthusiasm
- Pour and serve guests; maintain a clean, well-stocked tasting station
- Make wine feel accessible and exciting for every guest in the room
- Occasionally support wine service during private events and weddings
- Genuine passion for wine — especially Southern wines and small-producer stories
- Bartending or wine service experience — comfortable behind a bar for a crowd
- Warm, approachable personality — no wine snobs, please
- Knowledge of wine regions, varietals, tasting techniques, and food pairing
- Organized and self-directed — able to manage ordering and logistics independently
- Relationship-builder — genuinely interested in connecting with winemakers
- Thursday/Friday evening availability required; weekend flexibility a plus
- Comfortable working in a small, family-operated outdoor venue
- TIPS/ServSafe Alcohol certification preferred but not required
- Experience building or managing a tasting program is a strong plus
Client Coordinator
This is the hospitality role. You are the face of the vineyard on event day — the person our clients and their vendors see first, feel most, and remember longest. You carry the warmth of a family-run business and the professionalism of someone who genuinely loves what they do. You'll work alongside our in-house team to make sure every event runs beautifully from the moment the first vendor pulls in to the moment the last guest drives home.
- Prepare and set up the vineyard for each event — table setup, space arrangement, and pre-event walkthrough
- Greet and orient clients and their guests on arrival, making them feel immediately at home
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors during the event
- Stay present and attentive throughout the event, anticipating needs before they become requests
- Manage the flow of the day alongside your team without making it feel rushed
- Handle any in-event needs with calm, professionalism, and a warm demeanor
- Support event breakdown and cleanup at the end of the day
- A genuine love of people and a natural hospitality instinct
- Experience in hospitality, events, customer service, or a client-facing role
- Calm under pressure — the kind of person who steadies a room, not rattles it
- Strong communication: clear, warm, and timely
- Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to be on your feet for 5–10 hours and lift up to 30 lbs
- A team player who can also take initiative when needed
Member
This is the backbone role. You make the vineyard event-ready — and then you make sure it stays that way. Physical, purposeful, and satisfying work for someone who takes pride in a well-run space and knows the difference a prepared environment makes for everyone who walks into it. You'll work closely with the Venue Host and the rest of the team, moving from setup to event management to breakdown.
- Set up event spaces: tables, chairs, umbrellas, tents, and all necessary venue elements before guests arrive
- Manage the parking area to ensure smooth guest arrival and a welcoming first impression
- Monitor guest flow throughout the event, kindly keeping guests in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness and order of event spaces throughout the event
- Assist with any setup or logistics needs that arise during the event
- Lead or support event breakdown: removing setup elements, managing trash, and restoring the space
- Communicate with the team throughout to stay coordinated and responsive
- Physical stamina — this role involves manual labor and being on your feet for up to 10 hours
- Ability to lift at least 40 lbs and work on uneven outdoor terrain
- Experience in events, landscaping, construction, or any similarly active role
- A proactive work ethic — someone who sees what needs to be done and does it
- Comfortable working outdoors in all kinds of Georgia weather
- Friendly and professional in the presence of guests, even while doing physical work
- A team player who takes direction well and communicates clearly
We are a family. We hire like one.
Norwood Vineyard was built by a family — and the people we bring onto our team become an extension of that. We don't hire staff to fill a slot. We hire people who genuinely care, who take ownership of their work, and who want to be part of something that means something to the people we serve.
"Tending it forward since 1950 — soul and soil."
