WHAT WE BELIEVE
we believe in making lasting memories while there’s still time. we believe gathering with loved ones brings deep and real joy. we believe the more you live and are present with people, the more wealthy you will be. we believe that spaces can unite, strengthen, and deepen bonds with those we love and with our communities.
A Legacy Rooted in Family Heritage
Before it was a vineyard, this land was simply home. Red clay and muscadine vines planted by our grandparents Wilbert and Sarah Norwood. They didn’t call it legacy; they called it providing. Through their hands came a way of life rooted in work, family, and the quiet belief that beauty doesn’t need permission. Seventy years later, that belief still lives in the soil.
Today, our family tends the same ground, not to preserve the past, but to keep it breathing for future generations. Norwood’s Vineyard is a living heirloom, still held by the family who first planted it. Every gathering here becomes part of the land’s memory: weddings, reunions, celebrations that echo what’s always been true: that time only deepens what’s real.
What began as a small farm on the Southside has grown into a place where legacy meets what’s next. Because rare places only get better with time.
Family
We are a family steeped in love and tradition. It's at the core of who we are. When we opened the vineyard to others, we understood it could help other families carry on their traditions in a space and setting with enough legacy of it’s own to add a very meaningful new depth to their celebration.
Family is the well that we draw from every day. Family is dynamic and complex. Warm and nurturing. Always unique. Personally and professionally, family is the heartbeat of everything we do.
