A Guided Southern Wine Tasting at Norwood Vineyard (August)

Legacy Wine Tasting

A guided tasting of Southern wines, small batches, and the stories behind them.

Some wine tastings are about the wine. Ours is about the story behind the bottle.

Every second Friday, we gather under our Garden Tent for a guided tasting of three Southern wines - small-batch, thoughtfully made, and chosen because the person who made them has something worth knowing. We travel the region through each pour, introducing you to winemakers who are doing something real: tending land, honoring tradition, and making wine that carries a legacy.

This is not a tasting for the connoisseur. There’s no sommelier, no scoring, no pressure to swirl the right way. It’s a Friday evening on the vineyard: long tables, good charcuterie, honest conversation, and wine that surprises you. Sweet, bold, fruit-forward and every tasting is different, and that’s the point.

We keep it intimate on purpose. Never more than 40 guests. Whether you’re coming solo, with a friend, or with your whole crew, you’ll leave knowing a little more about Southern wine country and probably wanting to come back next month.

A few things to know:

∙ Tickets are $55 per person and must be purchased in advance

∙ Your ticket includes complimentary light bites

∙ Guests must be 21+

∙ Rain or shine - we’re under the Garden Tent, so we’re not going anywhere

∙ In the rare event of severe weather, we’ll announce a reschedule date or issue a full refund

We grow muscadine grapes on this land, but the wines you’ll taste aren’t ours, they belong to the makers we love and want you to meet.
Come see why this land and the traditions it carries feel like something worth coming back to every season.
