Farm Girl Market at the Vineyard
A Seasonal Sunday Farmer’s Market at the vineyard.
Three times a year, on the first Sunday of August, September, and October, the vineyard opens its grounds to a hand-selected group of growers, makers, and small-batch creators who believe the best things in life are grown, pressed, preserved, or made by hand. You'll find fresh produce and cut flowers, handmade goods and botanical beauty, small-batch preserves and local wine, and the kind of vendors who can tell you exactly where everything came from because they made it themselves.
The Farm Girls Market is famers market that is free to attend. It's open to everyone and is family-friendly. And it happens right here, among the muscadine vines, during the most beautiful time of year to be at Norwood Vineyard.
What to Expect:
Farm Girl Market is something we're building with intention. What we can promise you is this: every vendor here is chosen on purpose. Every product has a story. And the setting, well, there aren't many farmers markets in Georgia where you can shop for fresh honey and then look up and see rows of muscadine vines heavy with fruit.
Expect 15 to 20 vendors across six curated categories, great laid back atmosphere for you and your family and a few surprises we'll announce closer to each date.
Bring a bag. Bring a friend. Bring cash and a card because you will leave with things you didn't know you needed.
Parking is free and available onsite, with overflow parking across the street if we need it.
Vendor Categories
The Garden & Grove: Fresh seasonal produce, cut flowers, herb bundles, potted plants, dried botanicals, and everything that came straight from the ground.
The Pantry Homemade jams, preserves, hot sauces, honey, baked goods, flavored salts, and the kind of small-batch food you can only find from someone who made it in their own kitchen.
The Apothecary Botanical facial oils, pressed flower serums, herbal salves, beeswax candles, handmade soaps, and beauty products that smell like something growing in a field.
The Farmhouse Handknit and handstitched goods, pottery, woven baskets, hand-poured candles, woodworking, and slow-made things for the home.
The Cellar Small-batch wine, cider, kombucha, and local beverages worth sipping slowly. Norwood's own muscadine wine will be available at every market.
The Kitchen Garden Seed packets, gardening goods, beekeeper supplies, farm-inspired home goods, and everything for the person quietly trying to grow something.
Weather
Farm Girl Market will run rain or shine. In case of rain, our vendors are set up under a large covered pavilion, so a little Georgia weather won't get in the way of a good Sunday. The only thing that would have us cancel is a heavy thunderstorm, and if that happens we will reschedule and let you know as soon as possible.
A Note from the Vineyard:
Farm Girl Market grew out of a simple idea: the vineyard shouldn't only be for private events. It should be a place where the community gets to come and just be, walk the property, meet the people who grow and make beautiful things, and take a little of that slowness home with them.
Our grandparents cultivated this land for 75 years. We think they'd like seeing it full of people on a Sunday morning.
We'll see you out here.
