The Grand Reception
Two dramatic 18 ft family-style rows are end-capped on all four corners with 60" round focal tables. The sweetheart table — a 60" round — sits center stage in the aisle between the rows, making the couple the heart of the room. Buffet tables anchor the catering end, bar and DJ own the scenic garden end.

✦ Planner's Design Note: Placing the sweetheart table dead center in the aisle between the two family rows is one of the most dramatic moves in tent reception design — the couple becomes a living centerpiece, visible from every seat in the house and the first thing guests see when they enter. The four end-cap rounds create a visual rhythm that gives the long rows an organic, garden-party softness. Guests flow to the buffet at the catering end without crossing the dining zone, and the dance floor pulls them naturally toward the scenic garden end as the evening builds.
Planner's Layout Notes
- Sweetheart center-aisle: The couple sits at the heart of the room — equidistant from every guest. Every seat at both rows has a direct sight line to them
- Four end-cap rounds (EC-1–EC-4) frame the rows like bookends — the circular shapes break the linearity and create four natural focal points for florals and photography
- Entrance centered: Guests walk in and the sweetheart table is the very first thing they see — a stunning first impression
- Buffet 2 × 6ft side by side on the catering end wall — centered, accessible from both sides, and clear of the dining zone entirely
- No tables block the buffet queue — the left zone between the buffet and end-cap rounds stays open as a natural service and queuing lane
- Dance floor at scenic end — guests journey from the candlelit dinner through the sweetheart table toward the garden view and the music
- Wide center aisle (~13 ft) gives the sweetheart table breathing room and keeps the tent feeling open and airy
- Candle runners down both rows with the sweetheart candle glowing at center — the full room reads as one cohesive candlelit experience
