Ceremony and reception in one seamless space — no flip, no room hold, no guests waiting outside. The couple stands at the garden arch on the scenic end while ten 60" reception rounds sit fully dressed along the back and front walls, visible and beautiful throughout the ceremony. When the recessional ends, guests move naturally to their seats. The arch becomes the sweetheart table. The room exhales into a dinner party.

The transition: After the recessional, guests move their chairs to the nearest pre-set table — no direction needed. Hi-top cocktail tables appear in the corridor. The DJ opens the reception. The room transforms in under 5 minutes.

✦ Planner's Note: This is the layout that solves the hardest ask in tented weddings — a true ceremony-to-reception flow without a room reset. The bride who chooses this wants her guests present and relaxed, not standing outside during a 45-minute flip. Tables are fully florally styled from guest arrival, adding atmosphere to the ceremony rather than hiding in the back. The wide processional aisle (5+ ft) allows the recessional to feel grand and gives natural standing and mingling space during cocktail hour before guests find their seats. Style the perimeter tables with tall, varying floral arrangements so they read as part of the ceremony décor — guests won't think "reception table," they'll think "this room is beautiful."

  • 2 chairs per side of aisle: Generous open corridors on both the back wall and front wall sides — guests can stand, move, and find their seats comfortably without feeling squeezed. The room breathes
  • Garden arch at scenic end: Couple faces the garden view; guests face it too. The most beautiful backdrop in the venue is the ceremony focal point
  • 76 ceremony chairs in 19 rows of 4: Comfortable density with room to spare. Back rows can be removed for smaller parties
  • Reception tables pre-set and visible: Fully dressed 60" rounds line the back and front walls during the ceremony — they add to the aesthetic, not distract from it

Reception

  • No flip: Guests push chairs to nearest perimeter table after the recessional. No staff required, no holding area, no logistics anxiety
  • Hi-top cocktail tables in corridor: The former aisle and side corridors become natural cocktail hour standing zones — guests mingle in the open center while dinner is announced
  • Sweetheart at the altar: The couple's table is placed exactly where they stood for their vows, still framed by the arch and florals. One setup, two powerful moments
  • Dance floor opens at garden end: Once the sweetheart table is set, the garden end becomes dance floor + couple — DJ plays from the garden wall, music fills the full length of the tent
